Totally disgruntled patient

It so dissappointing to be at the biggest hospital in Africa but the lack of resources(beds, theatres), basic hygiene( basin blocked, toilets not operational, sheets not changed, dirty walls). You get admitted to do have a c-section yet there is a long list of 28ppl waiting excluding emergencies. Why do the doctors at Bara (ANC) continue to book ppl but there's 1. No room / beds/pillows for that matter & gowns. 2. They book you earlier for no reason( well they say it's for your safety) but if they know already that it's over crowded why book more patients? 3. The maintenance state of the hospital is appauling I really feel that Bara is a very big hospital and should uphold the standards of its stature, we dont need fancy beds or sheets but they need to be clean, the toilets in good working order, walls clean, unblock basin. Its basic maintenance and proper management of this place that's needed. People shouldn't feel that because they dont have medical aid then we deserve to be treated like trash. Sleeping in a room full of ****roaches- really not acceptable. I would suggest :People can be booked for c-sections while they are at home and come on that specific day to get it done. The only exception would be if that person has complications prior.I'm sure such can be considered . *I must commend and give credit to the staff members who always strive to put up a happy face and make us feel welcome at this place. Specifically wards 63&64. I'm sure it would be a disaster if they were not doing what they do.
