Maternity ward

I am currently admitted for a C-section since the 21st of February. I am still pregnant, I came here 39 weeks 1 day now I am 40 weeks 3 days pregnant. What I know if you once had a C-section you don't have to to wait this long to get operated. Whenever we ask Dr why are we going to get scheduled for a C-section they always tells us about emergencies that are outside the hospital and the one at the hospital which is understandable but since 21st Feb 2023 till today the 2nd of March 2023 they are still focusing on emergencies which is so frustrating and unprofessional. We grew up know Baragwanath is the best hospital but according to me they fail us at maternity ward. You can stay this long to get operated and when you ask they always tell you about emergencies as if the patients that are admitted not being considered.
