Chris Hani Hospital leaves pregnant patient bleed almost to death.

What we experienced as a family the past week was horrible, yesterday was WORST, to say the least. My aunt was in labour pains for more than 24hrs, almost bleed to death, her kids heart stopped beating.

All this happened on Tuesday, she only gave birth the Thursday, never got to see the child for two days as they claimed it's due to COVID. She got discharged yesterday with no baby, they then say they don't know the whereabouts of the baby as she is the mother she should know. What utter nonsense is that? For someone who hasn't seen their kid for two days. When she asks where the kid is at, they say they will attend to her. Two days passed and nothing.

The way patients are treated at this hospital is TOTALLY unacceptable!!! The labour ward is the worst, how do you as the hospital not know the whereabouts of the child?!!!

Many complaints have come forth, but nothing is being done. Department of Health needs to do something together with the MEC.

Patients are left to die in the hands of healthcare workers and kids are abducted...HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?!!!!
