Cellphone Charger issues

I bought a cellphone at exact in Chris hani Mall , the service was wonderful but unfortunately when I got home the battery wasn't charging so on the 3rd day I took it back they gave me a cable saying the cable was an issue not matching the phone , I'm so disappointed because still it's not tight it's not charging properly, I really thought they were going to me a new original charger as the phone so now it's passed 7 days I don't want to take it back because I might wait longer and I need to be available just wanted to share so that they don't do the same when someone comes to buy a phone , now I'll have to buy a new charger...
