Unacceptable Service Experience at Chris Cloete Motors – Be Cautious

I drive a Suzuki and have never had any issues with my car. I took it in for a routine service at Chris Cloete Motors in Cornwall View. Upon collecting my vehicle, I was told everything was in perfect condition.

However, after only 4–5 days, I noticed that the heater stopped working and the car began to overheat—a problem I had never experienced before. I immediately returned the car to Chris Cloete Motors, and suddenly I was told that several parts now need replacing.

How is this possible after a "normal service" that was supposedly issue-free?

I am extremely disappointed and concerned. It feels like my vehicle was returned to me in a worse state than when I brought it in. This raises serious questions about the competency and integrity of the mechanics at this workshop. It’s unacceptable to treat customers with dismissiveness, poor communication, and even hanging up during calls when asked for clarity.

Be aware: based on my experience, I would not recommend Chris Cloete Motors. It appears they may lack the proper training or ethics needed to service vehicles responsibly.
