Avoid Chorus at All Costs – They Will Bleed You Dry!
If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience with Chorus has been nothing short of a nightmare from the moment I moved in to the day I finally escaped their clutches. Looking back, I should have known what I was in for when my very first maintenance request was denied. That should have been my red flag, but silly me—I actually believed they would handle things professionally.
Chorus is nothing but a money-hungry company that prioritizes squeezing every last cent out of tenants rather than maintaining their properties or providing even the most basic customer service. They refuse to invest in upkeep, leaving tenants stuck with faulty appliances, broken fixtures, and endless excuses. And when it’s time to move out? Brace yourself—because that’s when they really show their true colors.
Recently, several apartments in my block were put up for sale, and it became glaringly obvious that Chorus was more focused on wringing every possible cent out of outgoing tenants rather than maintaining livable conditions. My move-out inspection was an absolute disaster. The inspector treated me like I had trashed the place, even though the defects they were pointing out had been there since the day I moved in. I was hit with outrageous charges for damages I never caused—things that were already broken when I first stepped into the apartment!
Dealing with this company has been beyond frustrating. They gaslight you into believing you’re responsible for their negligence and make the moving-out process as stressful and expensive as possible. The worst part? They don’t care. They know they can get away with it because tenants have little recourse.
Save yourself the headache. I would rather pay higher rent elsewhere than ever deal with Chorus again. If you value your sanity, your money, and your peace of mind, stay far away from this company.
