Yelled at & disrespected by Cashier

<p>On Monday 2 January 2017 we were at Choppies in the Carletonville Mall. </p> <p> </p> <p>I was treated very rudely by a Cashier named Julia khutsoane. </p> <p> </p> <p>My fiance was standing in the queue holding a place as the shop was very busy, as I approached the till point I saw that we were first and hurried when I got to the til point I put the two cold drinks I intended to buy on the counter, with this Julia khutsoane a Cashier instructed me to go to the back of the line, the other Cashier explained to her that I was there with my fiance who was waiting in line, again very irritated Julia khutsoane yelled and told me to go to the back of the queue. I lost my cool and told her that we were first and my fiance has been queueing in my place, she took the bottles to scan it while clicking her tongue and discussing me with the customers behind me in the queue. I then asked her if there was a problem and if she had a problem she should tell me, she glared at me and continued to discuss me with the other customers in Setswana. </p> <p> </p> <p>She scanned the cold drinks and then spoke to me in Tswana to give her the money (Ke Batla R20) , firstly this is extremely rude, if your customer is white it's just professional and good manners to address them on English! the cold drinks scanned more than the price I saw on the fridge, I told her the price on the fridge was less, again extremely annoyed she rolled her eyes, instead of speaking to me she said something in Tswana again, I had quite enough of her rudeness at this stage, took my money and left the shop. </p> <p> </p> <p>The treatment I got from Julia khutsoane from Carletonville Choppies is unacceptable. No customer should be treated like this! Since when is it OK for cashiers to yell at customers and treat them with no respect at all? </p> <p> </p> <p>This place doesn't even deserve 1 star! </p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
