LAME Security

<p>May I draw your attention to the fact that your so-called "security" at your doors are responsible for at least 5 people I personally know in Magaliesburg, refusing to go to your store again. I, on the other hand am easy-going and do not normally have an issue with the occasional security check when I am departing with a large amount of groceries in bags.</p> <p>However, this afternoon I realised I had forgotten a vital ingredient in the dinner I was preparing for tonight. I went to Choppies in a hurry, because the food was already cooking. When I reached the door, I had only one article in my hand (not in a bag), and the till slip prominently displayed so that I could leave as soon as possible.</p> <p>Your “security guard”, who, until that time had been chatting with a female someone outside the shop, I presume in order to impress her, stopped me and insisted on examining the article I had bought and comparing it to the till slip.</p> <p>My personal opinion is that if I am employing someone as a security guard, they should be paying attention to the paying customers and not flirting with someone outside the shop, until they can harass those who ultimately pay their salary.</p> <p>I am drawing your attention to this, because I like using your shop, and strongly believe that there should be an alternative to the other shops in town, but if it should continue I will stop shopping at Choppies.</p> <p>I am also not in your demographic, but I do believe that every loyal customer should be regarded as an asset.</p>
