Disgrace of a manager

Absolutely horrifying experience yesterday! Had a booked babyshower today, at a fixed rate. Come payment time there was a massive problem with the bill. The waitress immediately tried the best she could to sort it out... Now this took half an hour. Then the newly modified bill arrives, still not correct. The deposits paid, is not taken into account. Now, you can expect that the manager would somewhere then, had to take notice and come apologize for the inconvenience? Not at all. Only after an absolute mission to get hold of the manager, we finally got him while passing by... He was completely ignoring the situation. So when one of the organizers of the babyshower got involved, things heated up.

Instead of calming down a customer, listening and actually go and check if there is any emails of correspondence, looking at the proof of payments etc, he started to be VERBALLY ABBUSIVE, INTIMIDATING, DEGRADING, CONDESCENDING, DEMEANING AND JUST PLAIN RUDE. Upon requesting his name and surname, he refused.

This went on for an HOUR AND A HALF!!! After, we eventually got hold of another manager, this man called JP Pretorius, kept hanging around us, eyeing and insulting us. Never have I ever seen such a thing play out! Or? Maybe even heard of it? Geez! All of this, mistreatment of clients, all of them women! In the day and age we live in? I am completely disgusted with this whole experience.

APPARENTLY, according to JP Pretorius-who reeked of alcohol, everyone in my group has been banned from the restaurant for the future? But do I really want to return there, ever? Absolutely not! Never ever in my life again. I will miss the CUP OF LOVE beverage, but I will definitely not expose myself to be involved in such an ordeal ever again.
