CHOCOLAT BISTRO, DURBANVILLE

I was invited by two friends I had not seen since lockdown to have lunch at this establishment. It was my first time there and when I entered the Bistro and looked around I thought I was in for a real treat given the decor etc. Firstly I was shown to the incorrect table and when my friends arrived they were shown to another table. We chatted for a while and then ordered our food. My friend and I choose the quiche. When it arrived the quiche was cold and we had to send it back to be heated up. (first mistake). The waitrons all walked around with sullen faces and seemed to be very reluctant to help. The prices in this Bistro are not in keeping with the service that i experienced and I think that they need to firstly train there kitchen staff not to send out cold food and secondly the waitrons need to be more friendly. I for one will not be recommending this Bistro to any of my friends or family. The manager or owner needs to take control and sort these things out ASAP.
