Terrible Spa experience

<p>Myself and my husband visited Chique Wellness Spa. I purchased my voucher on groupon for a couples massage for R799.</p> <p>I am shocked by the service given by this “spa”.</p> <p>I sent an email to book my treatments with no response. Two days later I had to call to make the booking.</p> <p> </p> <p>As we get there the ladies at reception were not welcoming. No client cards given to fill in.</p> <p> </p> <p>My the****** seemed to lack training in massage techniques and the massage movements were way too fast. (They are meant to flow with the music). The treatments felt like it was done in a rush. I told my the****** numerous times that the pressure was too hard and still she continued with the same pressure.</p> <p> </p> <p>I found the treatment room rather cold and the lighting too bright – especially during the facial. I mentioned to the the******s we were cold and they didn’t bother to think for themselves to cover us with another towel or put a heater on.</p> <p> </p> <p>The Groupon voucher stipulates the time frame for each treatment. The full body massage was scheduled to be one hour and the indian head massage 30mins of which both were done in one hour. The facial was supposed to be 45 minutes. In 10 mins they cleansed and exfoliated and they made sure they wasted the other 35 mins on the mask. (The 10 years I have been in the industry I have never heard of a mask to be left on for 35 minutes!!)</p> <p> </p> <p>Once we finished the facial we were told, “we done, you can put your clothes on”. Terrible attitude and no mention of where we need to go or what we need to do. I was so disgusted and disappointed with the service that we left without doing the manicure, pedicure and lunch. They didn’t seem concerned that we left.</p> <p> </p> <p>This is unacceptable behaviour from a so called “spa”. Your staff have very poor communication s****s and work ethics. To hear that your the******s were trained at Camelot is a disgrace.</p> <p> </p> <p>Being a beauty the****** I was looking forward to being pampered and to enjoy my anniversary and to my surprise it was an appalling experience.<br />It was certainly a waste of R800 as it wasnt what I had paid for.</p>
