China Hyper Arbour Crossing- Very poor service!!
The service I received at the China Hyper Arbour Crossing store was pathetic. I was trying to purchase a charging cable which was marked at R45 on the shelf. When going to pay for it, it scanned as R65. The price issues was definitely not the issue however the way I was treated for a store issue was disgusting. I informed the cashier of the discrepancy and escorted her to the isle where she also saw that the price was R45. She informed another person named Musa, and this is when the pathetic customer service started. He did not even acknowledge me standing right in front of him, nor did he seem apologetic. All he did was speak in isiZulu to the cashier who was assisting me, telling her that I must choose something else as the price is R65. When I spoke to him, he continued to ignore me and speak to the other 2 colleagues, still in isiZulu, as if I was invisible. He quickly one of the others to remove the price before I could even get a chance to speak to a supervisor/manager. He was extremely rude and showed no signs of customer service skills. He was abrupt and insisted that I choose something else without acknowledging the fault on the pricing from the store's point. When approached by the manager and I explained the situation to him, he said that the store has a sign at the tills that says the prices that items are scanned at, are the prices that customers need to pay and not what is displayed on their shelves. Surely this is not the right way of doing business. When the manager asked Musa to apologize to me, he did not even apologize, he just laughed and not even look me in the face. He made a total mockery of the incident and got away with it. This is absolutely no way to treat customers. I've never had a problem with this store before but this time I was appalled.
