Disappointing Experience & Non-Delivery – Beware of False Promises

We engaged ChilliPepper Marketing & Design, led by Martin Horring, in April 2024 for lead generation and appointment setting services. The agreement included a once-off setup and activation fee of R14,995, which covered ten free appointments, after which we would be charged per qualified appointment. Unfortunately, the service failed to deliver as promised. To date, only one qualified appointment materialized despite claims of generating eight leads. We made multiple attempts to resolve the issue amicably, including requesting a partial refund for non-delivery. Martin initially agreed to the refund, but after repeated follow-ups, he stopped responding to emails and phone calls. Our concern is not simply about receiving leads but about the quality and qualification of these appointments—which failed to meet the agreed-upon standards. The company has refused to acknowledge this issue, and we have since escalated the matter to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud. We are sharing this experience as a warning to other businesses considering this service.
