Untruthful and Rude
<p>We moved into a place rented out by this property management company, the lady in the begining was very nice and told us many things that then just turned out to be untrue. We were told we could put a lock on the garden gate but after moving in this was prohibited, then due to security within the complex being bad we questioned about security gates and if we could personally put up gates, we were told that it had to be the same style as everyones, fair enough, but when we investigated further we found that there were different styles, we questioned this and the Estate agent, Adele, proceeded to phone my finance and become very rude and abusive, shouting at my Fiance and telling her she wanted us out. Then when our contract was finished we decided not to renew and move out, in the begining we were told that we could make holes in the wall, we would just have to cover them and touch up, never were we told to paint wall to wall, so we tried to clean the place out as much as possible, but then realised that the paint color they (the estate agents) told us to buy was incorrect, so then we did try and paint as much as possible, but we never had an agreement to paint wall to wall. On inspection when we moved out we explicitly asked the estate agent if there was any issues he could see that they would deduct rent on and he said no, we even asked again to make sure. Well 2 weeks later we were shocked to find that they had deducted almost R2000 from our deposit.</p> <p> </p> <p>Don't deal with these people, they are not honest!</p>

This was as per the Body Corporate request, due to the fact that the garden service had to come in to the garden and cut the grass.
There were different types of gates but it has to be in regulations with the body corporate specifications otherwise we would had to remove the security gate.
As for the deposit, there were several snags in the unit and there was quite a lot of mould in the bathroom that was not there when the tenant moved in and there was no problem of mould before in the bathroom. When they moved out there was mould and this mould had to be repaired, treated with mould sealer and repainted in order for the new tenant to move in.
The kitchen cupboards were extremely dirty.
