Stay away from Chilli Pepper Rentals and Ernest

There were just a few drops on a small section of the carpet of the which the company I hired to clean the apartment did not remove them when cleaning the carpet in one room, as Ernest from Chilli Pepper Rentals wanted to charge me R1700 to clean the 2 bed apartment, which was too much. Ernest now wants to have the entire carpet replaced, which means I will not get my deposit back , when the current incumbent tenant confirmed the spots are fading with cleaning. He still wants to have the carpet replaced even though the stains can be cleaned, this is ridiculous and heartless when I as a tenant never missed a month's rent left the apartment in good condition . I asked at least for him to charge me the cleaning fee of the carpet as the spots are fading with regular cleaning but does not want and I doubt he will replace the carpet as they are fading. Trust me Chilli Peppers will always find something not to give you your deposit back from cleaning to what ever else. Its absolutely ridiculous that a whole carpet needs to be replaced when it can be cleaned. Stay away from Ernst and Chilli Pepper Rentals. you have been warned
