NEVER USE THIS RENTAL SERVICE COMPANY!!!!
<p>If you ever see a place advertised with a rental company called Chilli Pepper Rentals, stay FAR away! We have been so unfairly treated and ****** when it came to receiving our deposit after we moved out (not to mention a late payment too). We got R2415.00 deducted from our deposit for a cleaning service (Which we didnt authorise - we deciede to get a cleaning service in to clean - because we didn't believe any cleaning service should cost R450- and once they had finished the estate agents took it upon themselves to get ANOTHER cleaning service in - without informing us- as they were unhappy because the top of a cupboard was dirty, 1 corner of the room was dirty and there was a spidersweb on one of the walls = they charged us R450 for a cleaning service of those 3 things!) and painting of 3 walls (which we did say we would be willing to pay for, obviously) however. I would personally like to know what painter charges over R1500! I know rental companies can be sticky when it comes to their 'snag' lists but they have been totally unreasonable and unacceptable. Just a friendly warning try your best to STAY AWAY! </p> <p> </p> <p>I know R2415.00. might not be much to most people, however it's not even about the money it's about how you treat your tenants who have never missed a payment, have tried to be reasonable throughout the whole process and have still been treated like *******!</p>

As per the lease agreement it clearly states that the unit will be cleaned after you guys moved out. You have signed the lease agreement and accepted the terms and conditions. There was no need for us to get authority from you guys to clean the unit we managed to get ready for our next client. The cleaning was not up to our standards and please contact me directly for pictures for proof.
The R1 500.00 was not only for painting but as well for supply and replacing of globes, Re-installing of a button for the extractor fan that broke off and it was not mentioned to us. We had 3 guys out to get the unit ready within 4-5 hours.
The tenants kept on informing me I can come this day, and then they change it to the following day and then the day comes and then they move it again and so it continued until the last day of the month and not 1 of them showed up to meet with me at 12H00pm.
