Driver damaged my car - now have to sue for damage

Chill Bev driver Lance Petersen rammed into my car in July 2015. The damages are R20 000 rand. The nature of the damges denotes that his impatience, but I was accomodating and took his company details. After much struggles and conflicting accident report statements. I was informed by a source that companies as such instruct their drivers to deny any responsibility for any damages they may have caused to not be held liable for any damages. This is very short sighted, as the world is small I have asked them to do the right thing. Instead I am being forced to sue them. I ask myself is it worth it to do in a single mother of this amount of money, when weighing up the costs of me knowing who their clients are. As I said this has traumatised me immensely but karma knows everyones address.
