Unhappy with the service

I went to the Chicken liken in Lyttelton Centurion today and purchased my order. I was then told that there was something wrong with the machine though the money was already debited from my account and I showed proof of that. I was told to wait for the money to be returned back into my account. I literally waited for about 30 minutes in which I asked for a manager. Portia Zulu Who is the manager refused to assist me and told me that I would just have to wait for the refund. I drove to the store because I wanted Chicken liken . I don't see how is it my fault that the machine is faulty and debited money from my account.
