Thumbs down on staff at chicken licken

We were out shopping today when we decided to get a bite to eat at Chicken Licken Queensburgh/Escombe. Upon arriving there was only one indian customer waiting for his meal in the parking lot. He decided to come inside to see what was taking so long. When he got to the counter the lady was packing his meal up and handed it to him. When the man had left the cashier asssisting us passed a comment saying that the customer was a gwala.... Translated to ***ard in Zulu. My boyfriend asked to speak to both the cashier and the manager. At first the cashier went on about how she was not refferring to my boyfriend and to the other customer instead and told her manager exactly what she said in Zulu, which was unacceptable. You do not speak about customers in front of customers is what my boyfriend said. The manager apologized on behalf of the cashier, to be honest this cashier didn't seem bothered, all she was bothered to point out to us is that she never directed her conversation to us. We asked for a refund and we left. Just found it so disrespectful, not only what happened but also the way the situation was handled was poor. I'm pretty sure when we walked out words were flying.
