Kitchen tap water apparently mixed with chemical.

On the 23rd November 2024 @15:57 at Booysens, I was served by a lady and her name is Khabonina Makhubo. After being served my son(6) asked for a glass of water. I asked her for water and the responses I got from her were somewhat disappointing to say the least. Firstly she said that the water in the kitchen contains chemicals, which she was lying about. As a person who works in hospitality there is noway a reputable company would not have drinking water in the kitchen. Especially for staff to drink as well from the taps. She pointed out that there is a tap outside behind the stairs, I then asked her for a cup, she blatantly refused, " I cant give you a disposable cup or borrow you a cup", we sell water, and our tea mugs are not available.

Staff needs to be taught how to be courteous and professional at all times. For a person to be employed and portray such behavior is very disappointing. Especially with our country having such a high unemployment rate.

I do not expect an apology from the company as it will be one of those that are sent to everyone. Just letting you know that your staff denied my child a resource called water
