EXTREMELY SALTY vs SPICY

had the misfortune of thinking of buying chicken licken once more, at Jewel city on Friday the 28th of July around 10pm. I was with four friends and bought the Hotwings Party 16. Oh boy do i regret the choice I made. We were famished and decided to dig in immediately. On the first portions we thought perhaps it was our taste buds, but on the second serving, the chicken was extremely salty. We immediately stop eating and returned the purchase to Jewel City. On our return, we met the store manager, John Tom, who refused to exchange the order on the basis that we had eaten the most of the wings. I beg to differ as I think about 11 pcs were still left. However it is to be expected as it is four people sharing these wings and everyone had a taste. Of late and with most franchises around Gauteng the staff is battling to strike a right balance between the salt and the spicyness of the meat. Next morning tried calling the customer care, but there was no answer. Even from the voice recorder one can tell that it is a pathetic attempt at having a customer care line. On Mondah, went on to CLs website to register the complaint- gave a 500 erro- only God knows what this means. I have sent an email to their so-called careline (pronounced Kline on the voice recorder) and still no response till today. Only if CL could pride itself in its culinary skills as much as it prides itself on awesome ADs that would be great. I still want a refund or an exchange!
