Chicken too salty, Made us sick

Yesterday(22/09/2026), I purchased an eight-piece Family Pack from Chicken Licken at Eyethu Mall. When we arrived home, we found that the chicken was extremely salty. We are used to the "hot" option being more salty than spicy, so we added a bottle of SoulFire sauce, which helped improve the taste.

Unfortunately, from last night until today, everyone in the household who ate the chicken has been experiencing stomach problems and repeatedly using the bathroom.

Please investigate the preparation and handling of food at this branch. Staff should use the correct measurements when adding seasoning and ensure that food is prepared according to the required quality and hygiene standards.

We now need to purchase medication because of this experience. This is unacceptable and has caused considerable inconvenience to the entire household.

I am particularly disappointed by the service and food quality at some of the Soweto franchises. It sometimes feels as though food is being prepared without enough care for customers. Please take this complaint seriously, investigate the branch, and advise what action will be taken.
