Chicken portions

I was at chicken licken Maponya, I wanted to buy 4x 2 pieces with chips (thigh and drum). I was informed that I am not allowed to choose which chicken portions I wanted for 4 combos and I couldn't only choose for 1 combo and they would choose the portions for me for the rest. I even offered to buy the chicken portions individually in order to get the portions I wanted,but no this wasn't possible. So I ended up buying 1combo and went to kfc to buy the 3 remaining combos 3x street wise 2 chips thigh and drum portions.
