Chicken licken franchising department can treat you like **** just because they can

In March 2018, while looking for business opportunities, I came across the chicken licken website where they encourage people to contact them if they are interested in franchising. I expressed my interest detailing who I was and where I wanted to operate the franchise. The following day I received an email from a person by the name of Railene Macccario who gave me all the requirements for franchises and told me to secure premises at a suitable location as per the document she had sent me and that once I had found a suitable place I should email her the details of the premises for consideration. I responded to her that I was interested and I would start right away to look for premises. For the next seven months I put work into finding such premises, I invested time, energy and resources in that process and in late September I was finally able to secure such premises. On the 1st of October I sent an email to this Railene person believing then that they would proceed with inspection of the premises as she had led me to believe, instead she sent me a cut and paste response from somebody by the name of Frank Kriesoldt, which informed me that they could not consider my request as I was outside their area of operation. I was shocked and taken aback as to why they never told me this from the onset and why I was let to waste time and money trying to secure premises when they already knew that I was outside their area of operation. I emailed them and requested an explanation and reminding them that I am now saddled with premises that I had secured specifically for that business and they have ignored me ever since. I have lodged a complaint with them and to date I have not received any response. I have suffered what I believe to be a great injustice at the hands of chicken licken and I believe at the very least I need to be heard and their head office also seems to care less maybe because they are a big powerful company and I am supposedly a nobody.
