AVEO FUEL CONSUMPTION LIKE A V8

I bought a Chevrolet Aveo late last year. Car averages about 8Km/l. Car has been back to dealer 5 times. Told this is normal and that a small car does not mean its lite on fuel. Even if stats published by GM SA shows a MUCH better figure. I have driven 2 Honda's and 8 VW in the past. Always beating the fuel consumption figure of the manufacture. If you want to buy a small car that's lite on fuel, I would not consider the Aveo, you can just as well buy a 2.5l car, fuel usage should be the same. Chevrolet H/O requesting a 6 months log book, before they could be bothered to look into the issue. Just enough time for the new credit act time of 6 months to lapse!
