Disgusted

Really dissapointed in Cheval Vapeur Accomodation in Phillipi Cape Town. First got lost as the road only has one board by the main gate. Our car got stuck in the sand. As for the living ways.. Very unhygenic. Ablution points get padlocked at night making it very difficult to go to the loo at night with kids. Yes you do get a key but very frustrating trying to open a lock when a todler has to go urgently. The place has flies all over. You can not sleep during the day or make food at night as the flies are everywhere. The carpets in the cabin is so so dirty your feet gets black walking on it barefoot. Bathrooms are not kept clean even if they say they do. Its dusty, has spider webs and bad smell too. We came back more than a week earlier than booked and lost a weeks paid accomodation. I couldnt anymore. To top it off even after using 2 cans of doom in 4 days and toilet duck everytime i went to the loo, i now have rhe worst bladder infection. I do not know how in the world this place is listed with Leke Slaap or Travel Ground even after all the bad reviews. Will not refer anyone to this place ever.
