Cherry Kicks - sneaker retailer is a ****mer

If I could give this "business" zero stars, I would. Cherry Kicks is supposedly a female-owned business that opened in December 2022, with the premise of making sneakers accessible to everyone. They align themselves with the values of "authenticity, value and trust" as per the owners video on Instagram - she aligns to none of these. I was trying to source a particular sneaker for my son for Christmas, and came across the website. I tried looking for reviews etc, but could only see "happy customer reviews" - screenshots posted on their FB page. Nowhere else could I find anything. So, with trepidation, I placed an order for a pair of sneakers. Things were a bit rocky at first with lack of communication, and not being able to track your order online. After nearly 2 weeks since placing the order (FB page states delivery in 3-5 days), the sneakers do arrive. I'm happy and relieved, and trust that this is a legit business that I'm happy to support. Fast forward 2 months later, at the end of Feb, I decide to place another order of sneakers for my son's birthday mid-March. After payment, I get the usual automated response that my order has been placed. I figure it's fine, as I remembered from December, that they didn't really reply to my messages, but I did receive my order. After a week, I send a WhatsApp to their number, requesting information regarding delivery date. I also wanted to find out if I could change my delivery address, no response. I try again a few hours later, still nothing. I try again the following day, and I get a response from the owner, stating she's in Amsterdam, and my order was dispatched the previous wednesday. After that, radio silence. It was now in the second week since I had placed the order, and my son's birthday was 5 days away. I asked her to please be honest with me about the sneakers, as I would need to make a plan B for his gift. She came with some story about there being issues with the consignment. And promised me that if nothing arrived by Wednesday, she will arrange an overnight courier so I can get the sneakers on Friday, the day before my son's birthday. Wednesday comes, I don't hear from her. After countless whatsapps, with no reply, she sends me a voicenote to say that she will confirm with me after 2pm about the courier consignment issues. She doesn't call me. I message a few times later the afternoon, she ignores me. Thursday morning I beg her again to just be honest with me about the order as this is my son's gift, so if it's not arriving, I have to sort something out, and she must refund me. She calls me to confirm the sneakers were handed over to the courier, she will send me the waybill. I don't hear from her again the whole of the Thursday, even though I sent her countless messages and called. Friday comes, the courier is supposed to arrive today with the sneakers. I message and phone, trying to get the courier details, no answer and no replies on the WhatsApp. She phones me the afternoon from a totally different number, promising me I would receive it that day, as it now supposedly only left the morning. Anyway, no courier information arrived, no sneakers arrived for my son's birthday. This morning (Sunday) she's posting on the Cherry Kicks FB page all the "happy customers" and marketing new sneakers that have come in. I respond on her post that this is all a ****, and where is my order. She deletes my negative comments, and has blocked me from the FB page so I can't call her out for ****ming us. To date, no communication about the sneakers, my son's birthday has come and gone, with nothing to show for it. Don't support this woman and her company. She is a heartless, lying *****.
