Deny damage to furniture

On 1 Feb 2018 Andrew Medcalf dropped his team of cleaners at my house (after postponing the appointment twice) to clean my carpets. After they left I discovered the base of a floorstanding lamp completely shattered. I wrote several Whatsapps and smss to ask that my lamp be replaced. They denied breaking it, claiming that they moved it and it shattered on A THICK CARPET. After these lies they ignored my messages. Now I must carry the cost of the damage of an article that had much sentimental value for me. WARNING: Do not use their services!!! They are not an ethical business, denying damage, refusing to be held accountable and then ignoring their customer thinking that will solve their problem. What a way to build a reputation! A bad one, yes!
