Displeased with the service

I called Chemdry Benoni to have 2 carpets cleaned-as there was a strong dog smell on the carpets of the new cottage we moved into. I called a lady named Joe and all was well. I told her i had a terrible dog smell on the carpets and asked for a quote-she gave me a quote and we made the appointment.

The cleaners came before the appointment time-which made me think that the company was very proffesional. My boyfriend then asked one of the cleaners if he could assure us that the dog smell would definetly be out of the carpets and he rep**** with "Yes".

When i arrived home that evening the smell was still in both rooms and had to be surrounded by that stinky smell all weekend, until calling Joe on Monday.

Only to be told that i needed to inform her that there was dog urine on the carpets(It was a cottage we were moving into-so i did not know what was in the capret-as i said-i just mentioned there was a dog smell). I believe it is a proffesionals job to inform and ask questions to a client to resolve the problem of the customer and to give them the RIGHT cleaning option.

We landed up paying R500 for the two carpets for the smell to remain and for Joe to tell us we should have told her about the dog urine in order to get a pre-clean and then the standard carpet clean.

Money wasted. Time wasted. Empty promises and a poor screening process to ask neccessary questions to make sure clients get what they pay for. POOR SERVICE.
