CANCELATION FEES

My son Tristan was enrolled at the school for 3 years and was withdrawn from the school in January 2015. We informed the principle verbally that we were looking for another school for Tristan as we no longer could afford the fees and that we were also unhappy with the level of education he was receiving as he was in a class of 12 children, yet still struggling with bad grades. We did however not inform the school in writing as we waiting to get Tristan accepted at another school first. If we had sent the notice of intention to withdraw him and we did not find a suitable school, we would then be liable for registration fees. The school is now suing me for failing to inform them of withdrawal and claiming 3 months school fees equaling R10 230,34.<br> The entire school is currently being educated in prefab buildings since inception 6 years ago. When we enrolled him we were told that the school would be built the following year. These promises keep getting made each year and to date prefabs are still being used and the poor kids have to try and learn in sweltering heat in summer and extreme cold in winter.
