ChelinoBaby Cavendish - Pathetic

Stay away from Chelino Cavendish Square Cape Town. Ordered a Galaxy travel system in February 2023. Upon opening the box at home, the incorrect travel system was in the packaging. I was informed to return the product to the store, for the correct one to be given. This was done. Upon setting up the new travel system for a second time, it was noted that the snug n safe / car seat, did not fit properly in the pram. After much back and forth with their staff, it was noted that although the frame said galaxy on it, the covers belonged to the Speedi system. (WOW) Again the system needed to be returned, and all of this at 39 weeks pregnant. To top it off, the snug n safe / car seat provided was scratched and covered in dust. It was then noted that they had provided me with a second hand seat which was on their showroom shelf!

Cavendish manager advised me that i would have to bring it to the store again myself which i was not prepared to do. I logged a complaint with head office, whom arranged for the travel system to be replaced again!

The travel system has been used a whole of three times and still has the labels and tags attached. On the fourth use of the travel system, the stroller is stuck and refuses to close. I immediately contacted their head office as i was now stuck at a mall with a stroller that could not fold to fit into the car. They did not seem bothered at all. Head office promised me on the 26th that a new stroller would be sent to me directly from their head office. On Friday i followed up and was told that the delivery would take place on Monday. Monday i received a mail advising that the stroller has arrived at their store and again, i must collect it, after advising them multiple times that they need to stick to the arrangements and also bearing in mind that the faulty stroller cannot close to fit into the car. Their customer service is not existent, their staff lie and you simply cannot rely on their packaging or products. Very disappointed and will not be buying from them ever again.
