My Cat convertor had to be removed and a mini cat fitted, according to the owner once finished my vehicle would be fine, I was asked to collect my vehicle early tomorrow to be told by the secretary that it was ok, owner not in the office, as I tried starting the vehicle it struggled. When it did start it would not idle which I thought might be because cold. Leaving the premises it kept on dying. So I went back to the mechanic who did the head up. When he heard what I paid , he told me I had been **********, price should have been round R650. I can't continued to investigate and found out that all 5 exhausted places quoted between R550 to R650 and 2 mechanical companies every one agreed I had been **********. Cheetah exhaust been R2800 and no mini cat I called the owner of Cheetah exhaust who said that these people have no idea what they talking about and the work involved to remove the cat convertor inside even though every one of these companies do the same work The owner had no intentions of even negotiating a small amount to be rebated My advice to all people, stay away from Cheetah exhaust, go to any other exhaust business Cheetahs owner has a smooth mouth and you think he knows what he is doing, maybe he does,but he will help your mind money leave your bank , price from R650 to been charged R2800 is a huge ******* I'm a pensioner and this doesn't go well Stay away potential client.
