POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AT CHECK STAR OVERPORT

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE from Check Star Sparks Rd branch. A month or two ago I purchased my groceries at Check Star Overport, while I was at the till I went back to fetch some items I forgot, I left my trolley at the till with the cashier who was willing to wait for me to get back.

When I got back my trolley was almost finished being charged for awaiting for me to return, I told the cashier I dont mind you scanning the goods as long as they did not overcharge me and the cashier said no they did not.

I left the store and went home. Upon reading my till slip I noticed that I was charged for Pepsi cola (which I don't drink) and a pack of sour worms sweets which I did buy but was not in my shopping bag.

So in summary I was charged for 1 X Pepsi Cola and a packet of sweet but I did not receive any.

I went to the store and spoke to Raisa Sayed and she proceeded to request for video footage while I did some shopping, when I got back the footage was not ready and asked Raisa to call me,

I got feedback from Raisa Sayed that I did receive the Pepsi Cola and packet of sweets and that she got video footage showing this.

I went to the store end of Nov 2024 and was advised by Raisa Sayed that the footage is deleted as it is available only for 7 days. She was adamant that she did tell me this which I do not recollect. She also did not have my till slip and did not care where it was, which later some else found and returned to me.

With attitude she said when I complaint on hello Peter I must quote Raisa Sayed as there is another Raisa in the company. I did not have any intention to log a complaint on hello Peter, but I now feel such an incident should be shared.

She pointed at her name badge so I wanted to take a pic of her name and she grabbed my phone and banged it on the counter, I felt she consented to the photo as she pointed to her name badge.

I spoke to the Store Manager and he advise that Faraad or Camerron will call me by sun 1 Dec 2024. To date I received no calls from Check Star regarding this incident.
