Bad Product / Service

On 11 June 2017, I bought a stewing beef I made this purchase at Checkstar in 18-26 Bertha Mkhize St, Durban Central.

Unfortunately, when I got home trying to separate the meet into smaller bags for cooking purpose, I picked up that it was not good meaning some of it was off. I took one bag for cooking and that became very bad as we could not even be able to eat the same.

Trying to resolve the problem, I went back to the store to explain what had happened. As the purchase was done over the weekend that meant that I could not take it back on the same day. Due to work commitments I only managed to go back on the 13 June 2017.

When I got there I spoke the gentlemen by the name of Henry and Munich (Butchery Manager) and they made it very clear that I am not allowed to bring back that meat. Asking them why, they responded that I should have brought it back in 24 hours (which is not mentioned on the slip). I explained that I do not reside in town and I don’t work in town. Sill they continued stating that I must take my meat and go since there is nothing wrong with it.
