Disappointed in Specials and staff not really go the extra mile

Staff really not going the extra mile for a customer, when there is specials on. Good Day I am not really a person that complaints but last night i was very upset. I went to Checkers with the bit of money that I have to buy something to eat for my family.

I saw a special for Rotisserie deli chickens and a 1.5l coke for R160.00 which was a great bargain for me. I went to look at the fridge for the coke but there was none. Only 2litres. When I enquired about it by the food section I was just told then the special is finished and I must just pay the full price, which I did.

I was really disappointed because this to me is not going out of your way for your customer. I then paid R95.99 per chicken.

I really am disappointed to think that why is there such a great special when the staff just wont go the extra mile and make a plan to still give you a special, but they did not.

I started buying now from checkers more than the other stores as I think your variety is much better but now the way that this went down I really dont know any more.
