Shocking response from checkers

I recently purchased fat free milk (your house brand) through your sixty60 app on Friday the 31st of May and I was very upset to find that the milk’s expiry date was the 4th of June 2024 attached are the pictures of the product. This is not acceptable at all. it was my first time using your app and my experience was not the pleasant one as a result, I do not think I want to use your app in the future. I trusted that you do take care of your customers and you would not sell them expiring food from your app.

We always endeavor to offer the best quality products to our customers. Due to us supplying a convenience service, please see our picking rules regarding products.

The expiry date picking rule is to pick today plus one day or more. For example: if today is the 31st of May 2024, products from the 2nd of June 2024, etcetera will be picked.

The products was therefore shopped within the sell-by date.

Please note you may return the products to your nearest Checkers store. They will then advise if they are able to accept the product/s.

You can present your invoice as proof of purchase.
