Product delivered short and I am not getting my refund out of them
I placed an order on the 27th June, paid in full for all the items, in total R1 557.00 and they did not have the coffee in stock. I asked for a refund of the R279.99 and it is the 8th of July now and no refund. I called the call centre who told me to send an email. Then I get asked to send them a copy of my bank statement to proof that I was not refunded. And then it was back and forth emailing, and then they started telling me that they did refund me and that I should contact my bank to get this sorted out! The problem is not with my bank, they need to contact their bank as it is a POS transaction that a refund has to be made on.
So in short, if they owe you a refund, you can forget about it. You will wait until you are blue in the face.
Last time I ordered from them.
And whenever I ask them a question, they just ignore me. I never get a reply once I request information from them. They insist that they paid me, and when I ask for a proof of payment all I get is silence.
It is clear that Checkers does not care about their customers, at all. We spend roughly about R5 000 a month on groceries at Checkers and I know it is not a lot of money in their universe, but it will not happen again. I am done with businesses not caring about their customers.
I had better service from Pick a Pay and will rather go back to them, even if it means that I have to pay R500 more for my groceries each month.
