Poor online service

I sent email to *** regarding order no ***A that I purchased online on checkers sixty60 SAVEWAYS WITBNK 1035 On the 25th of April 2024 . I bought Lucky star tin fish to my surprise when I opened it today seems rotten ,having bubbles and smell bad .it was not consumable. Video and pictures including invoice was attached .to my surprise today after I followed up they responded and said I should return the product to the store ?how possible is that to keep spoiled product from April until today 6th of June 2024. I bought it online and paid delivery so why should I carry spoiled product to the shop.
