Noisy delivery bikes destroying our tranquility

I am beyond fed up with the constant noise from your delivery bikes, which have made living and working in my own home unbearable. Since your store opened, we’ve had to endure over 100 of these cheap, noisy bikes tearing up and down our street daily. Because of the incline, they rev their engines even louder, completely shattering any peace in our neighborhood.

This is not just an annoyance—it’s a daily assault on our quality of life. I work from home, and concentrating with this constant racket is impossible. It’s not just me; other residents are also fed up. These bikes are some of the noisiest, most obnoxious machines on the road. Better ****lers won’t fix this. They need to be replaced with proper, quieter alternatives, and your drivers should stick to main roads instead of cutting through our neighborhood.

I have already escalated this issue to the City of Cape Town and will continue to do so. This is a noise nuisance as defined by the City's bylaws. Every citizen has the right to peace and quiet in their own homes. I urge others affected by this to do the same. If your management continues to ignore this, you can expect more formal complaints and action from the community.

Fix this - before we have to take it further.
