Driver's are a nuisance - stop hooting

The drivers for Checkers Sixty60 are proving a nuisance. Both on the road but also making noise by hooting every time they deliver.

I've warned several drivers not to hoot when they deliver for me (despite me making this note on the app in my profile, under delivery instructions) but they still do. Drivers hoot as they approach the door, even before stopping.

Today, the incident that lead me to make this post, the drive drove up and down the road hooting - not just outside a specific door. He eventually stopped at the house across from me.

I made a note of the number plate, called the Checkers Sixty60 Customer Services (***) and made a complaint. I encourage everyone experiencing the same to do this. Make sure to get a reference number.

Note: The first time I called, the call centre operator gave me a number to call which which was the WRONG number. The operator was imo trying to fob me off. So make sure to get that reference number.

I did call back, got another operator who was very helpful. He advised that the complaints lines about the driving/deliveries is ***or *** (which goes to the delivery company themselves). He also made sure I took down the reference number.

I hope this encourages others to do the same. The more who speak up the sooner we can stop this annoyance.
