Delivery of Expired Meat & Poor Complaint Handling – Checkers Sixty60

Repeated

I am बेहद disappointed with the service I’ve received from Checkers Sixty60. This is now the second or third time that I’ve ordered meat through the app, only to receive products that are clearly not fresh. Most recently, the meat had a strong, unpleasant smell when I cooked it — a clear indication that it was expired or no longer safe for consumption.

When I contacted customer service to report this, the handling of the situation was just as concerning as the product itself. While I was issued a credit, I was then instructed to place a new order and pay for delivery again. This effectively means I had to incur additional costs because of their failure to deliver quality products in the first place.

What stood out even more was the lack of accountability and empathy:

There was no real apology or acknowledgment of the seriousness of delivering expired food. I was refused the opportunity to speak to a manager. I was instead directed to send an email, which would be handled by another consultant — further delaying resolution.

This experience gives the impression that Checkers Sixty60 does not take quality control or customer complaints seriously, and that customers are expected to absorb the inconvenience and additional costs of their mistakes.

Consumers use Sixty60 for convenience and trust that food — especially perishable items like meat — will be delivered in excellent condition. Repeated failures like this suggest a systemic issue, not an isolated incident.

This needs to be addressed urgently. Delivering expired food is unacceptable, and the lack of proper escalation channels only makes the situation worse.

I hope this review prompts Checkers to take accountability, improve their quality control processes, and treat customer complaints with the seriousness they deserve.
