ASOLUTELY DISMAL FUNCTIONALITY!

I ordered items and to take advantage of the Xtra savings on offer I indicated the amount specified. Added it to my basket and proceeded to the check out. Bear in mind the following: 1. You have use "+" function to indicate the quantity. Then the big orange/red button next the quantity button clearly stating "Add to Basket". 2. After doing this you have to review your order and to ensure that it is correct. 3. Proceed to the payment. 4. You have to spend over a certain limit to qualify for "free delivery", "there is only a specified amount allowed of items allowed", understandable. The whole point of having this application is to "Simplify" your life and make saving possible, right? Wrong! The order I received got absolutely ONE item where I chose more than one of the same item right and to that was not even on a savings/discount. So choosing the different products in order to save was obviously not an option! So contacting "60 minutes" and with a suggestion on how to actually have the savings be viable was not Checkers intention. You then have to call them and the recording does inform you that due to your network supplier you may be incurred a charge. The poor agent who is doing their best to assist you has can pretty much do nothing, even after suggested resolution, neither the Line Manager as they are there just to pacify you, the consumer by feeding you their charm, which is actually very ineffectual. Then you get said reply: We apologize for your experience, thank you for contacting us. We investigated the matter, and we see that the deals did not trigger because you selected one of each item that had a specific deal to it. We will look into the matter so that this does not happen again in future. Once again, we humbly apologize Wow, that was helpful.....really?! I suggest that Checkers RECYCLE their app and investing creating one that actually works correctly and actually is able to save you money and also not be add insult their consumers intelligence with an apology that implies that the consumer is an illiterate idiot! DO NOT BOTHER CONTACTING CHECKERS AS NOTHING WILL COME OF IT AND PERHAPS THEY CAN CONSIDER ENTERING INTO THE POLITICAL ARENA AS SERVICE DELIVERY IS A CHALLENGE!!! NO SAVING AND Xtra EXPENSES ON TO CALL AS WELL!
