Great shopping at Checkers Metlife Mall
What a pleasure it was shopping at Checkers Metlife Mall this morning. I popped in and was impressed with the cleanliness and fresh look of the store. I needed assistance and the manager, Jous Siyotula, helped me. I'm going to shop there in future. The staff were friendly and helpful too. Well done to you all and thank you.

Great shopping at Checkers Metlife Mall
What a pleasure it was shopping at Checkers Metlife Mall this morning. I popped in and was impressed with the cleanliness and fresh look of the store. I needed assistance and the manager, Jous Siyotula, helped me. I'm going to shop there in future. The staff were friendly and helpful too. Well done to you all and thank you.

on the 22/04/2026 my wife bought tripe at the Checkerrs Metlife Plaze, Port Elizabeth. she arrived home refrigerated the tripe. My wife tried to cook it the Saturday the 25th/04/2026. as she opened it defrost it, it had a vulgar smell. we checked the dates and noted that it was packed the 20th of April 2026 and use by date was the the 22nd April 2026. It was definitely repacked on the 20th and was put back on the shelf so that another person could buy it and most probably would thrown away as they would not make an effort to take it back. That is the respect they have for the clients.
