Expired foods at checkers

I just bought a Tinkie at checkers which was very crumbly upon opening.My daughter told me that the cream inside was tasting weird and when she checked the expiry date it has already expired in December 2025.This is unacceptable and bad business practice to continue to sell expired products especially things that are edible. I do still have the opened product as well as the receipt.They will be held liable should anything happen to my daughter.😡
