Wrongfull arrest of a customer by Checkers

On the 01 of April my fience went to Checkers Liquor Conorbia Mall in Durban. The cashier forgot to scan a case of Heineken after he was the one who said no need to take out of the trolley hence it a big box and it was underneath. My fiance payed took his change and left the store as he was about to load the items in the vehicle, securities from the store came to him, sending him and his cousin back to the store informing them that some items were not paid for, OK both of them comp**** check the till slip that when they realised that the Heineken case was not paid for. They then told the securities what happened with the cashier, security did not listen to them they were then sent to the back of the store statements were taken but he was charged for shoplifting even though he offered to pay for it he had cash with him. Head of Security and store Manager insisted on opening a case he was handcuffed taken to police station spent hours in holding cell. Now he has to miss work on Monday 4th of April couse he has to go to court.This also means that he has a ******** record under his name.
