Worst customer service ever received.

If I could I would give them zero stars because the service i received at Checkers Glenvista shopping centre.

I am writing to formally complain about the very bad service I received at your shop on Monday 30 August 2026 at around 10:57am at Checkers Glenvista shopping centre.

I was being helped at the till by a staff member she didn’t have her name badge on and refused to give me her name. I politely requested that she please separate my meat from the bath soap for hygiene reasons. Instead of assisting, she lost her temper, became angry, and started to swear at me in front of other customers.

I found this behaviour rude, unprofessional and humiliating. I did not expect to be insulted for making a simple and reasonable request about food hygiene. Mixing raw meat with soap is unhygienic and I was right to ask for separation.

I received a phone call by the manager but I had gone to the doctor due to the stressful event at the store. I ended not being able to go and lay flowers at my late daughter due to stress I had endured at your branch. It was the anniversary of the passing of my daughter and I didn’t need all that drama.

I am a loyal customer and I expect better treatment.

I would like you to please:

1. Acknowledge my complaint 2. Investigate the incident and check CCTV at the till area 3. Ensure the staff member is retrained on customer service and hygiene 4. Give me feedback on what action was taken
