Went to Checkers Westgate Mall Cape Town to do shopping with my gift card

Went to Checkers Westgate Mall Cape Town to do shopping with my gift card. Come at the tillpoint.... the cashier says it's o balance. But it's my 1st attempt using it on Sunday past. Spoke to management the system was offline. I went today again to Checkers the system is still offline. Pathetic Checkers as a corporate that does not have a call center to expedite these matters.Management confirmed she is busy but that's not food enough. I want to use my gift card and also had prove of receipt to show the balance of my gift card.
