Warranty Breach

We bought an Ottimo Barbeque Grill in July 2015. We got a 1 year Warranty. The water pan rusted after the 2nd - 3rd time we used it (this pan is not made out of a treated metal and this was totally understandable to rust because of this), but we kept on using it since this is not an area of the machine that affects the cooking or the food. We used it between 3 - 4 times per month. Apart from the pan, It's in excelent condition. Yesterday, after cooking some meat halfway, the element stopped working. When we returned it today with all slips and original packaging, we where refused a refund or exchange even though one of the ladies working there said it must be a factory fault. Apart from the pan, they still say the waranty is on the electrical, which is why we brought it back... We never complained about the pan, and was even prepared to take a replacement and keep our \rusted\" pan, but we where not allowed to have it sent back to the supplier to find out what they say... <br> We have been buying all our groceries and most of our appiences at Checkers Gezina Galleries. This was our 1st return and last visit to this store. Will drive further to get better appreciation for our support..."
