Very poor service, fruit/vegetable section. Checkers Ararat Road Welkom

<p>Yesterday Thursday 8th December, 2016. I went to Checkers Ararat Street, Welkom. I bought a few items, most of the tills had long queues. There was one with only two persons. I said to them “Hier is n’ kort tou”. The answer was “Nee ons wag al lank, kry nie n’ prys nie”.</p> <p> </p> <p>This intrigued me. I asked what’s wrong “Daar is niemand by die groente/vrugte afdeling nie”. These persons had been waiting from 16h50 to get a price. A lot of staff were standing at that section. All saying “We do not work here”. One of the customers went in search of a manager. Found a Mr Gelebe [Sounded like that], only then was a plan made to get the price. The queue had become longer by now. I was ONLY served at 17h10. A TWENTY minute wait for ONE price.</p> <p> </p> <p>Please investigate this lack of prompt service. I would think that these standing members should know how to price one item .</p> <p> </p> <p>With service like this I may re-think of using this Checkers again.</p> <p> </p> <p>I also notice that some of the large metal trolleys and plastic baskets are in dire need of a good wash.</p> <p> </p>
