Very Bad after sales service

Good day

I trust this email finds the reader well. I would hereby want to express my regret in the level of service I received from Checkers Hyper at their Cape Gate branch over the past few weeks since Friday 29 November 2019. I went to the shop on the above date in order to purchase an item on their promotion brochure. When I got to the shop I was attended to by a lady who referred me to her store manager Esmerelda as they had at that stage not received any of the stock of this item. Esmerelda assured me that she needed to load me unto the system in order for me to still receive the item at the said price by the time it arrive at the shop which I agreed to. A few days later I received a call from the shop to inform me that the item arrived and I could pick it up. I checked it and left. Upon arrival at home I opened the item and discovered that I was supp**** with two of the same side panels for the item meaning I would not be able to assemble this item and I immediately brought it to the shops attention upon which I was assured by Esmerelda that she would order another item and inform me when it would arrive. A few days later I arrive at the shop and the electricity went out and I was assured by Esmeralda that they have the item and I brought the item in which was wrongly supp****. However, they had me waiting more than half an hour just to find one of their male colleagues that they assured me was in the shop and they could not locate him. Esmerelda then assured me that she would have someone drop the panel off at my residents. On Thursday 12 December 20, 2019 I phoned Esmerelda again not very happy after she never returned any of the calls she promised me in the past two weeks. She then referred me to a Marie who after hearing me out made a promise to assemble the item they have at the shop and have their staff collecting the items I had at home as a swap. Today marks a week after that promise was made and another three phone calls to the shop reminding them that I am still awaiting delivery. To say that I am revolted is stating it mildly. Is there altogether something wrong with these items in question or did they ever receive this item they promise me? Someone need to make me understand why this item that is standing at the shop cannot arrive at my residents as promised? Is three weeks a reasonable time to make anyone wait for something without reasonable explanation or a phone call reassuring the client? Would it be unfair to say that I think Esmeralda’s after sales service as a store manager is worrisome?

Could my relationship with this shop be salvaged? Or is there someone in this group that is still geared at putting clients first? Kind regards
